Getting Started with FRRYou’ve received your sample pet food, you’re impressed with the quality, the convenience, the healthfulness and the comparative cost, and you’re considering becoming a distributor yourself. Congratulations! This is an exciting opportunity for the self-starter. If you have an entrepreneurial spirit like I do, there is no limit to what you can do as a distributor of Flint River Ranch products. In order to become a Distributor (or Associate) rather than a regular customer, you must complete and sign the Associate Agreement and mail or fax it to Flint River Ranch. Signing up as a distributor is FREE. You can remain a distributor until June 2004, at which time you must decide if this business is right for you. To renew your distributorship next June costs $25 (with the same $25 renewal fee every year if you decide to remain a distributor). You always have at least 6 months to decide if you want to stay. For me, the deciding factor is whether I make or save at least $25 for the year, and the answer has always been YES! Once you fill out the Associate Agreement, send it or fax it to FRR directly. Their mailing address and fax number is on the order form. If you would like to place a product order, please fax the order form with your Associate Agreement. Cross out my distributor number at the upper right and write your own FRR customer number there instead. If you don’t have a customer number yet, just note on the product order form that your new FRR Distributor ID has not yet been assigned. This way you will get the PV from your purchase to count toward your commission instead of mine. Unlike other businesses, there is not a lot of "business" product you have to buy, but I do recommend ordering sample packages (DOG-SAM and CAT-SAM) so that you will have them on hand to give to potential customers. Once people try Flint River Ranch with their pets, they will see why you’re so excited about this food! You can also order small bags of food and package your own samples. Flint River Ranch also sells regular dog/puppy food and cat/kitten food labels that you can stick on your sample packages. I also recommend the product catalogs. It is a small catalog that lists the cat and dog products. You can buy them in packs of ten for $4 – just call Flint River Ranch and ask for them or use the Tools order form to fax an order. I have re-typed the order form in MS Word format, which I will be happy to give to you so you can personalize with your FRR distributor number and reprint as you need them. I have many of the forms in PC format, as well, and if you let me know when you’ve faxed in your Associate Agreement, I will mail you a CD with lots of information, forms, and helpful tips. One last note: Flint River Ranch is a registered trademark and we are not employees of Flint River Ranch. Your web site, URL, business card, stationery, email address, etc. must always list you as being an "independent distributor" of Flint River Ranch products. You must not represent yourself as being "Flint River Ranch," so beware the use of Flint River Ranch in your URL or other marketing materials.
